Common Insights about Overheating of Engine.
There may be different reasons for overheating oil not circulating properly due to choked oil filter, coolant issues in coolant chamber, less oil or not proper lubricating oil used.
Every engine has different viscosity parameters. Engine oil viscosity is recommended by manufacturer. Different viscosities like 0W-20, 10W40, 5W30 etc. are there according to engine types. Oil prevents friction heat to cool off. If we use more viscous oil as recommended by manufacturer than it might cause heating problem due to excessive strain on it. Moreover degraded or dirty oil creates sludge which in turns makes it more thicker which might also cause heating.
